Our Mission
Here at The Dream SchoolHouse, our mission is to provide a nurturing and engaging learning environment for K-8th grade students while actively serving and enriching our community through literacy.
We offer a comprehensive range of educational programs including homework tutoring, language classes, supplemental English and math courses, as well as Art, Music and more.
Our programs promote explorative learning that foster meaningful connections between students and the world around them, inspiring a lifelong love of learning and empowering young minds with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to thrive academically and beyond.
Words from the Director
Hello!
My name is Ms. Bunny, and I am passionate about working with children and helping each student grow up with a love of learning and a healthy sense of self.
I immigrated to the United States from Taiwan when I was 7 years old. The first few years were difficult for me as an ESL student. I struggled to keep up with my peers. In 4th grade, I received a free book from the school's book fair, and despite having limited language skills, I worked through the novel, and it ignited a love of words in me that helped propel me academically. Soon after, I tested into the Gifted Program and got to experience a different style of learning, where lessons promoted critical thinking and allowed students to learn creatively. I was also fortunate to have many compassionate and caring teachers who supported me throughout school and inspired me to become an educator.
As an adult, I have dedicated my life to working with children. From volunteering, private music lessons, and tutoring to teaching and becoming an Education Program Director, there is nothing more joyous and rewarding than the connection I've built with my students and seeing them thrive. With over 20 years of experience, my hope is for The Dream Schoolhouse to serve the families in the community for years to come.

Program
Welcome to our After School Program, where learning meets creativity!
We offer a comprehensive range of services designed to support and enrich the educational journey of students from Kindergarten to 8th grade.
Pick Up Service:
We provide convenient transportation from surrounding schools to our program. Transportation is currently available for:
- Ramona Elementary
- Emery Park Elementary
- Northrup Elementary
- Baldwin Elementary
- Repetto Elementary
- Monterey Highlands Elementary
- Brightwood Elementary
Tutoring Package:
Our dedicated tutors focus on helping students complete their school homework while providing additional support in English and Math tailored to their grade level. With a tutor-to-student ratio of 1:8, each child receives personalized attention.
Add-On Classes (Optional):
For those seeking additional learning opportunities, we offer a variety of add-on classes. These classes are designed to further enhance language skills, unleash creativity, and strengthen mathematical abilities, with a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:15. Your can choose from:

ESL Class - FREE!

Music Class
Introducing our Musicianship Class K-2nd grade and Small Group Keyboard Class 3rd to 8th grade! Musicianship class will have lots of engaging activities, singing, and rhythm to nurture a child’s love for music and build a strong foundation. The keyboard class will teach fundamental techniques, note readings, and melodies.
Art Class
Explore various artistic mediums with a touch of history in each lesson. Develop self-expression through creativity and make art inspired by the world around you.
